Galicia is the westernmost autonomous community on the north coast of Spain, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. To the north the Ocean receives, also, the name of Rias Altas and to the west is called Rias Bajas.
In the northern region of Galicia (corresponding with Rías Altas) the water is appreciably colder but there are quite beautiful beaches, such as Soesto, Trece or Lagoa, located at A Coruña zone.
