To the people that want to travel to Spain and especially Andalucía I give you a good tip. There is a great hostel where you can crash! In the White Nest Hostel in Granada, recently opened, you can find a young international group of like minded people, in fresh vibrant surroundings. You will have a great time to remember your entire life…..Based at the foot of the Alambra, the area is both central and historical.Full of tapas` bars really close and everywhere!!. I recommend you to stay in Hostels Granada and experience the life of Albayzin, Sacromonte and the heart of Granada itself.

I have recently taken my iPad on an educational trip to Madrid, and during the travel found two apps very useful and effective, which made my trip in the capital and largest city of Spain highly convenient.

The first app is Hello Hello Spanish, which offers easy and quick Spanish language learning course. The best part about this app is easy accessing to common conversational dialogues that generally take place inside a shop, hotel, restaurant, in the street etc. This app proved its excellence when I played one of its recorded conversations on the iPad and asked a Spanish Native, who was unable to understand my pronunciations, for direction.

The second app is ‘Madrid Subway’ which is a comprehensive guide and detailed map of all city subway lines with precise location of each station. This app has further features like - interactive route planner, closest station locator to a particular address.

Though both the apps are good for traveling in Spain, but I am sure in coming time we will have more of these kind of application for every big cities & for every major languages of the world.

Las Ramblas is the most famous rambla of Barcelona and it is very impressive to see some of the human statues but be careful of pickpockets. I also like the rambla del poblenou, less touristic more local but also a little far away from downtown but worth to take a nice walk until the beach. I found this site providing a lot of useful local info, may interest other people too http://www.world-rt.com/
