The autonomous community of Galicia, located in the north-western-most part of Spain offers a wide range of dishes that usually contain seafood, combining many ingredients to get the best from these fresh products from the sea, such as shellfish, empanadas, polbo á feira, which contains octopus, the cheese queixo de tetilla, the ribeiro and albariño wines and the orujo liquor, a very popular beverage in this community and one of the most exported to the rest of the country as well as the wine.
