Segovia is a city full of local color in the central region of Spain, specifically in Castile, and it is a delight for the ones who love the cuisine.
It houses one of the biggest Romanesque church concentrations in Europe which mostly date back to the 11th century. It also houses the famous Alcázar, which inspired Walt Disney for creating the Sleepy Beauty’s Castle and also was the place where the Queen Isabel backed Columbus in order to achieve his journey for the Americas. Segovia is surrounded by two rivers and a beautiful city that is full of narrow and cobbled streets.

Maria, you won’t have any problem to reach Salamanca from Segovia. Just ask at the bus or train station.
