I have recently taken my iPad on an educational trip to Madrid, and during the travel found two apps very useful and effective, which made my trip in the capital and largest city of Spain highly convenient.
The first app is Hello Hello Spanish, which offers easy and quick Spanish language learning course. The best part about this app is easy accessing to common conversational dialogues that generally take place inside a shop, hotel, restaurant, in the street etc. This app proved its excellence when I played one of its recorded conversations on the iPad and asked a Spanish Native, who was unable to understand my pronunciations, for direction.
The second app is ‘Madrid Subway’ which is a comprehensive guide and detailed map of all city subway lines with precise location of each station. This app has further features like – interactive route planner, closest station locator to a particular address.
Though both the apps are good for traveling in Spain, but I am sure in coming time we will have more of these kind of application for every big cities & for every major languages of the world.
