Today we will travel around one of the most beautiful cities from Spain. It’s all about the Mediterranean, cosmopolitan and bohemian Barcelona that offers the tourist a little bit of everything, from Roman remains and medieval quarters to modern and avant-garde establishments.
Let’s begin our route in what is considered perhaps one of the most visited areas. We refer to La Rambla that is a pedestrian crossing located in the central area of the city.
Also we can encourage to take a walk across the Gothic Quarter located in an area known as Ciutat Vella, and where we find some sights as the Cathedral of the Santa Cruz and Santa Eulalia also known as La Seu Cathedral. In case you did not know it, we can tell you that it is a Gothic temple which is considered to be one of the most beautiful Gothic churches not only of the country but worldwide as well. It is worthwhile mentioning that this church was built from 1928 on.
Then, we can practice some religious tourism in the Basilica of Mare de Déu of the Merc
