And it’s not only our opinion, but that of the Festival del Cante de Las Minas which declared the Corral de la Morería of International Touristic Attraction giving to it the special Prize 2006 to the best “Tablao” Flamenco of the world.

castellon-fairToday we will deal with a very popular and regional event, well-known as Fira de Sant Andreu, a fair with a more than six centuries old history which takes place annually, when November ends, in a Spanish province known as Castellon.

The fair began on May 6, 1398 by means of a privilege that was granted to Saragossa by the King Martín I. Since then, and year after year, it is celebrated on a place where the presence of all kinds of artists, craftsmen and theatrical and musical representations bring the cities of the region to life.

tenerife-sunsetIn this opportunity we wanted to disappear for a few days, to escape from daily routines, from housework and the duties of our job. Our escape had to be to a place where nobody could find us, but not very far for being a short trip.

So it occurred to us to travel to an island known as Tenerife, an ideal place with beautiful coasts and huge mountains that were in a unique and special contrast with. For that reason, and without telling anybody about the adventure we were planning then, we pay online our fares and also the hotel reservation directly from a webpage.

barcelona-graveyardThe necro-tourism is still in and right now is Barcelona’s turn, a place where this year, there have been approximately 5.700 people who have followed a guided route across the cemetery of Poblenou or the historical-artistic combination that the Cemetery of Montjuic hosts, according to some information provided by the Cementiris de Barcelona company, which wants to dig a hollow for itself in the niche (it couldn’t have been said in a better way) related to whatever the city has to offer tourists.
