Eivissa Town Council’s Tourist Board and the Tourist Excellence Plan provide an opportunity to attend reenacted tours in English intended to foreign visitors.
Dramatized or reenacted visits to the historical center of Ibiza constitute a unique experience that allows the visitors to know how people lived in Dalt Vila by the time when the Renaissance fortified town centre was built.
The guides’ explanations and the actors will take visitors back in time to learn more about society during that period, the dangers the city was exposed to, and life in this part of the Mediterranean in the 16th century.
While sightseeing, the most picturesque places of the citadel are discovered, and the history of key monuments is known. The visit finishes in the square of the Cathedral by tasting some local wines and produce.
Guided tours are free. At least 15 people are required, so it is necessary to book in ahead by calling (971399232) or by mailing to: informacioturistica@eivissa.es.
